Health Importer App Reviews

Does not work

Bought this a while back, just tried using it today. Simple file; date, time, integer (water intake in fl oz). App lets me select the date format, but for time it shows date again. For the water, it only shows L/ml, no ounces. I figure it will put the number into the field no matter what the control says so I select Liters. Ive tried it several times, with no success. Completely fails to import my data, which I believe is the entire point of the app. Should be no stars. Requesting refund.

Worked Pefectly

I did exactly what it says it does. I had a Google spreadsheet with my weight data logged since 2010. Using this app I was able to quickly and easily import years of data in a couple minutes. It was formatted correctly, it was fast, and it was easy to use. I have a feeling the people that gave it zero stars didnt read the instructions. It worked perfectly for me, first time.

Bad App

Keeps crashing when I try to import a csv file...

It doesnt work

or I dont know how to configure it. There is not much explanation on what to do. Ive tried different Excel files but didnt work. Also I couldnt find how to get in contact with the developer

Crashes when running import

This will be a nice puzzle, figuring out what exact format is needed to avoid crashing.

Good app

The app works well and will import your data correctly. I miss an import from a Safari or chrome browser, would be very nice to import directly from the web.

Crashes

The app crashes and I do not even get to the import screen to start importing and there is no contact information to find out what to do. I would like my money back.

Does not work and limited functions

As the other review said this app crashes and does not work at this time. Additionally it would be nice it it accepted more date time formats and even separate columns for date and time.

Can’t import?

My CSV file is properly formatted with headings, a date/time column in one of the listed formats, and weight in kg… I am able to load up the file, select the data types, and it says the process completes, but NONE of the data is actually imported? What am I missing???

Rip Off!

It loads and then crashes. I want my money back!

This app doesnt work

The idea is great, but the app keeps crashing without doing what it is supposed to do. Please fix and refund buyers until it works.

Could not be simpler and better

I lost my phone and since I was not syncing encryption-required data, I lost all of my health data. But luckily, I had most of my data synced with "Lose It!" App. To my disbelief that iOS does not allow importing health data, I was desperately in search of a method to import my data into iOS health app and I came across this app!A little price and horrible reviews, but my depression forced me to buy it regardless, and boy I did not regret it! They thought of every possibility! How date might have been formatted and how the data is arranged! All in the most simplest way! It took me 10 minutes to import thousands of lines of data! Regarding all these negative comments, my guess is that they either didnt read the instructions (10 lines) properly, or the application owners significantly improved the app! Thank you so much! This saved mea huge frustration!!

Doesnt work

Followed the instructions. Mailed to myself. There were no options to: Tap on the box with the arrow ( ) in the upper right corner. Select "Open in Health Importer" to import data to this app. I tapped the box with the arrow, but there was no option for Health Importer in "Open". So, this product is broken on arrival. I blame both the App owners and Apple for allowing this app to exist. I also blame  for not allowing me to import my own data when there are numerous ways for me to lose is, including leaving their own BETS PROGRAM! Waste of money & time.

Just working!

Basically the only app to import external data into HealthApp Use to import my stats from Basis PEAK fitness sensor. No settings at all- just give the source file and "magic happens"...)

Crushes!

The app crushes when trying to import data

Still some way to go

It would be useful if you could chose the delimiter of the CSV file to import. Only commas is not well suitable for systems where the comma separates decimals; how about tab, semicolon, …? Importing date worked for me (on an Italian configured iPhone 6) only if I exported in mm/dd/yyyy and set the import to dd/mm/yyyy. Weird. After trying, getting bad results, erasing, retrying 3 times, I had to power off to reset and return to seeing the iPhone-logged Health data.

Would like an option to import period/menstruation data

I specifically downloaded this app so I could switch from the previous period tracking app I had used for the past 5 years (iPeriod) to Apples Health and Spot On. However, it doesnt look like there is an option yet to import that data when categorizing the imported CSV file. Please include an option for this during the next update, as I am sure I am not at all the only one who would use this feature. Almost every menstruating person I know tracks their periods with their smartphone, so youd see a huge uptick in downloads once this feature is added on!

Doesnt work. No way to get support.

I purchased this app and have followed the instructions to the letter. It will not import data into Health generated by my Bayer Contour USB meter. Excel and Google Sheets have no problem reading the exact same .csv file. When you click on the support link, youre taken to a website which has no mention of this app, nor any support options. Caveat Emptor. I wasted my $2.99 so you dont have to.

Exactly what I wanted

Upon trying to get HealthKit to import my cycling data, I was bummed to find I had missed a step and several rides werent counted. And with Runkeepers current configuration, it doesnt export historical data directly to HealthKit. Enter Health Importer. It did exactly what I needed, which was to find a way for me to move rides from Runkeepers history into HealthKit. It did require me to interact with Runkeeper via a computer, but the walk through was perfect. I was even able to edit the csv file before importing it to include just my cycling, and not the various walks that runkeeper likes to add. If it were a "one-click", no file editing process it would be 5 stars. 4 because it did what I wanted perfectly, but it helps that I am comfortable with the concepts of csv and file exporting and importing.

No Longer Works with Latest Health Kit Update

Worked great, but does not seem to work after the latest 8/7/2015 update to the Health Kit app. Still no update to fix issues, tried removing app and reinstalled but lost all my data
